In our project, we will not only provide a simple mobile application but also a service platform called Crypto-ONE Platform for users who want to get access crypto services more conveniently and efficiently. In addition, of course we would like to develop a variety of applications on this platform based on this concept.
If you ask people in Korea why they do not use bitcoin or altcoin like Ethereum, then most of the people say that the reason is that they do not know how to buy and sell them easily. I think when you think about it again, cryptocurrencies are not easily accessible for everyone.
What is the most difficult thing in cryptocurrencies? Buying and selling crypto currencies is the answer. It's really hard to understand how to buy or sell them because there are many complicated steps until you can buy or sell them with fiat money (USD/KRW/etc). If you go through all these steps several times just for buying a cup of coffee at Starbucks, then everyone will probably agree that it's too complicated for common people. Even though buying something with cryptocurrency is realizable now, I think 15 years later when more merchants have coinless cash registers which accept blockchain transactions, they will start using cryptocurrencies. And during this it will be nice if they don't need to go through too many steps just for buying or selling their money.
The problem we actually experienced that made us think about cryptocurrency's future: It's too hard and time consuming to buy and sell crypto currencies, and it takes a lot of time and financial resources for users who want to change from one coin to another.
As I said above, everyone can get access to cryptocurrencies now. When you get them, the first thing you'll probably do is trading them between yourself and others. But even if someone understands how crypto exchanges work, it still takes a long time and huge amount of money to buy them with fiat currency (USD/KRW). You have to go through so many complicated steps during this process. Even if you buy Bitcoin, for example, it takes quite long time. And then you have to choose an exchange service that supports the coin that you want to trade with Bitcoin (which is BTC/ETH now).
And before transferring your money to this exchange service, you will need to go through 2~3 steps (which are like registering accounts and confirming them). After receiving BTC on this crypto exchange service account, you can start trading cryptocurrencies. But there are many limits for trading. You cannot even deposit more than $10k worth of coins per day on most of exchanges.
